◎When intend to conduct an academic or art activity, or special research for culture or art unique to our country,

(1) Document clarifying details of activity, period, and summary of institution where the said activity is going to be conducted (Use form A&B)

A. Document clarifying details of activity and its period drawn up by applicant or accepting institution
B. Guidebook of the institution where an applicant is going to conduct the said activity, which clarifies the summary


(2) Resume and following documents, which verify academic history, work history and history related to the activity of an applicant.

A. Copy of diploma or graduation certificate
B. Employment certificate of applicant
C. Either of the following document, which clarifies academic or art achievement
a. Letter of recommendation from related organization
b. Report related to activity in the past
c. Winning a prize in the past
d. List of thesis and works in the past
e. Documents equivalent to a through d above

(3) Document certifying payment ability of all the expenses while staying in Japan
A. Either of the following documents when an applicant pays the expense
a. Certificate related to granting scholarship, which specifies granting amount and its period
b. Balance certificate of deposit in bank by name of an applicant
c. Documents equivalent to a or b above

B. When a person other than the applicant pays the expense of the applicant, either of the following documents related to the person who pays the expense
a. Tax payment certificate of resident tax or income tax (It must list total income)
b. Slip of withholding
c. Copy of duplicate for income tax return
d. Document equivalent to a through c above
